سورة المائدة

آیت نمبر (18)

وَ قَالَتِ الۡیَہُوۡدُ وَ النَّصٰرٰی نَحۡنُ اَبۡنٰٓؤُا اللّٰہِ وَ اَحِبَّآؤُہٗ ؕ قُلۡ فَلِمَ یُعَذِّبُکُمۡ بِذُنُوۡبِکُمۡ ؕ بَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقَ ؕ یَغۡفِرُ لِمَنۡ یَّشَآءُ وَ یُعَذِّبُ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ لِلّٰہِ مُلۡکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَ مَا بَیۡنَہُمَا ۫ وَ اِلَیۡہِ الۡمَصِیۡرُ ﴿۱۸﴾

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination. -

یہود و نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کے بیٹے اور اس کے دوست ہیں ، آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ پھر تمہیں تمہارے گناہوں کے باعث اللہ کیوں سزا دیتا ہے ؟ نہیں بلکہ تم بھی اس کی مخلوق میں سے ایک انسان ہو وہ جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے عذاب کرتا ہے زمین و آسمان اور ان کے درمیان کی ہرچیز اللہ تعالٰی کی ملکیت ہے اور اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے ۔ -

Yahud-o-nasaara kehtay hain kay hum Allah kay betay aur uss kay dost hain aap keh dijiye kay phir tumhen tumharay gunahon kay baees Allah kiyon saza deta hai? Nahi bulkay tum bhi uss ki makhlooq mein say aik insan ho woh jisay chahata hai bakhsh deta hai aur jisay chahata hai azab kerta hai zamin-o-aasman aur inn kay darmiyan ki her cheez Allah Taalaa ki milkiyat hai aur ussi ki taraf lotna hai. -
