آیت نمبر (13)

وَ اِذَا قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ اٰمِنُوۡا کَمَاۤ اٰمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوۡۤا اَنُؤۡمِنُ کَمَاۤ اٰمَنَ السُّفَہَآءُ ؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّہُمۡ ہُمُ السُّفَہَآءُ وَ لٰکِنۡ لَّا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not. -

اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اور لوگوں ( یعنی صحابہ ) کی طرح تم بھی ایمان لاؤ تو جواب دیتے ہیں کہ کیا ہم ایسا ایمان لائیں جیسا بیوقوف لائے ہیں ، خبردار ہو جاؤ یقیناً یہی بیوقوف ہیں ، لیکن جانتے نہیں ۔ -

Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay aur logon ( yani sahaba ) ki tarah tum bhi eman lao to jawab detay hain kay kiya hum aisa eman layen jaisa bey waqoof laye hain khabardaar hojao! yaqeenan yehi bey waqoof hain lekin jantay nahi. -
