2) Surat-ul-Baqara

2 ) سورة البقرة

(133)

وَ اِذِ ابۡتَلٰۤی اِبۡرٰہٖمَ رَبُّہٗ بِکَلِمٰتٍ فَاَتَمَّہُنَّ ؕ قَالَ اِنِّیۡ جَاعِلُکَ لِلنَّاسِ اِمَامًا ؕ قَالَ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ؕ قَالَ لَا یَنَالُ عَہۡدِی الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۲۴﴾

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [ Allah ] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [ Allah ] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."

جب ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) کو ان کے رب نے کئی کئی باتوں سے آزمایا اور انہوں نے سب کو پورا کر دیا تو اللہ نے فرمایا کہ میں تمہیں لوگوں کا امام بنا دوں گا عرض کرنے لگے میری اولاد کو فرمایا میرا وعدہ ظالموں سے نہیں ۔

Jab ibrhim ( alh-e-salam ) ko unn kay rab ney kaee kaee baaton say aazmaya aur unhon ney sab ko poora ker diya to Allah ney farmaya mein tumhen logon ka imam bana doon ga araz kerney lagay aur meri aulad ko farmaya mera wada zalimon say nahi.

اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَہُوَ الۡبَلٰٓـؤُا الۡمُبِیۡنُ ﴿۱۰۶﴾

Indeed, this was the clear trial.

درحقیقت یہ کھلا امتحان تھا ۔

Dar-haqeeqat yeh khulla imtehan tha.
