2) Surat-ul-Baqara

( 3 ) پارہ نمبر

2 ) سورة البقرة

(267)

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡ حَآجَّ اِبۡرٰہٖمَ فِیۡ رَبِّہٖۤ اَنۡ اٰتٰىہُ اللّٰہُ الۡمُلۡکَ ۘ اِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ رَبِّیَ الَّذِیۡ یُحۡیٖ وَ یُمِیۡتُ ۙ قَالَ اَنَا اُحۡیٖ وَ اُمِیۡتُ ؕ قَالَ اِبۡرٰہٖمُ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡتِیۡ بِالشَّمۡسِ مِنَ الۡمَشۡرِقِ فَاۡتِ بِہَا مِنَ الۡمَغۡرِبِ فَبُہِتَ الَّذِیۡ کَفَرَ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ لَا یَہۡدِی الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۲۵۸﴾ۚ

Have you not considered the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord [merely] because Allah had given him kingship? When Abraham said, "My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death," he said, "I give life and cause death." Abraham said, "Indeed, Allah brings up the sun from the east, so bring it up from the west." So the disbeliever was overwhelmed [by astonishment], and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

کیا تو نے اسے نہیں دیکھا جو سلطنت پا کر ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) سے اس کے رب کے بارے میں جھگڑ رہا تھا ، جب ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) نے کہا میرا رب تو وہ ہے جو جلاتا اور مارتا ہے ، وہ کہنے لگا میں بھی جلاتا اور مارتا ہوں ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالٰی سورج کو مشرق کی طرف سے لے آتا ہے تو اسے مغرب کی جانب سے لے آ اب تو وہ کافر بھونچکا رہ گیا ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ ظالموں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

Kiya tu ney ussay nahi dekha jo saltanat paa ker ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) say uss kay rab kay baray mein jhagar raha tha jab ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha mera rab to woh hai jo jilata aur maarta hai woh kehney laga mein bhi jilata aur maarta hun ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha Allah Taalaa sooraj ko mashriq ki taraf say ley aata hai tu issay maghrib ki janib say ley aa. Abb to woh kafir bhoncka reh gaya aur Allah Taalaa zalimon ko hidayat nahi deta.

6 ) سورة الأنعام

(873)

فَلَمَّا رَاَ الشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَۃً قَالَ ہٰذَا رَبِّیۡ ہٰذَاۤ اَکۡبَرُ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَتۡ قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّیۡ بَرِیۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۷۸﴾

And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah .

پھر جب آفتاب کو دیکھا چمکتا ہوا تو فرمایا کہ یہ میرا رب ہے یہ تو سب سے بڑا ہے پھر جب وہ بھی غروب ہوگیا تو آپ نے فرمایا بے شک میں تمہارے شرک سے بیزار ہوں ۔

Phir jab aftab ko dekha chamakta hua to farmaya kay yeh mera rab hai yeh to sab say bara hai phir jab woh bhi ghuroob hogaya to aap ney farmaya be-shak mein tumharay shirk say bey zaar hun.

25) Surat-ul-Furqan

( 19 ) پارہ نمبر

25 ) سورة الفرقان

(2924)

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلٰی رَبِّکَ کَیۡفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ ۚ وَ لَوۡ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَہٗ سَاکِنًا ۚ ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا الشَّمۡسَ عَلَیۡہِ دَلِیۡلًا ﴿ۙ۴۵﴾

Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication.

کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ کے رب نے سائے کو کس طرح پھیلا دیا ہے؟ اگر چاہتا تو اسے ٹھہرا ہوا ہی کر دیتا پھر ہم نے آفتاب کو اس پر دلیل بنایا ۔

Kiya aap ney nahi dekha kay aap kay rab ney saye ko kiss tarah phela diya hai? Agar chahata to issay thehra hua hi ker deta. Phir hum ney aftab ko issi per daleel banaya.

36) Surat Yaseen

( 23 ) پارہ نمبر

36 ) سورة يس

(3778)

وَ الشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِیۡ لِمُسۡتَقَرٍّ لَّہَا ؕ ذٰلِکَ تَقۡدِیۡرُ الۡعَزِیۡزِ الۡعَلِیۡمِ ﴿ؕ۳۸﴾

And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

اور سورج کے لئے جو مقررہ راہ ہے وہ اسی پر چلتا رہتا ہے یہ ہے مقرر کردہ غالب باعلم اللہ تعالٰی کا ۔

Aur sooraj kay liye jo muqarrara raah hai woh ussi per chalta hai yeh hai muqarrar kerdah ghalib ba-ilm Allah Taalaa ka.

55) Surat-ur-Rehman

( 27 ) پارہ نمبر

55 ) سورة الرحمن

(4960)

اَلشَّمۡسُ وَ الۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٍ ﴿۪۵﴾

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

آفتاب اور مہتاب ( مقررہ ) حساب سے ہیں ۔

Aftab aur mahtab ( muqarra ) hisab hain.

71) Surat Nooh

( 29 ) پارہ نمبر

71 ) سورة نوح

(5505)

وَّ جَعَلَ الۡقَمَرَ فِیۡہِنَّ نُوۡرًا وَّ جَعَلَ الشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجًا ﴿۱۶﴾

And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?

اور ان میں چاند کو خوب جگمگاتا بنایا ہے اور سورج کو روشن چراغ بنایا ہے ۔

Aur in mien chand ko khob jagmata banaya hai aur sooraj ko roshan chiragh banaya hay

75) Surat-ul-Qiyama

( 29 ) پارہ نمبر

75 ) سورة القيامة

وَ جُمِعَ الشَّمۡسُ وَ الۡقَمَرُ ۙ﴿۹﴾

And the sun and the moon are joined,

اور سورج اور چاند جمع کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

Aur soraj aur chand jama kerdiye jaeingay

81) Surat-ut-Takveer

( 30 ) پارہ نمبر

81 ) سورة التكوير

اِذَا الشَّمۡسُ کُوِّرَتۡ ۪ۙ﴿۱﴾

When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

جب سورج لپیٹ لیا جائے گا ۔

Jab sooraj lappet liya jaey ga

91) Surat-us-Shams

91 ) سورة الشمس

(6134)

وَ الشَّمۡسِ وَ ضُحٰہَا ۪ۙ﴿۱﴾

By the sun and its brightness

قسم ہے سورج کی اور اس کی دھوپ کی ۔

Qasam hai sooraj ki aur uski dhoop ki
